BARILAN - Resistance EP

First appearing on Confession mid last year amongst the Alchemy 5 series with his track 'Malfunction', BARILAN has been hard at work since. With previous remix work for the likes of Alison Wonderland & Quix as well as an EP on Wuki’s label Wukileaks the L.A local now returns to Confession with a two track EP titled 'Resistance'... and what an EP it is! Leading off with 'Lockdown', a wobbling ominous offering with a cleverly distorted vocal to compliment, with the title track 'Resistance' on the B-Side picking up the pace, with rave stabs and dynamic percussion ramping up the energy!

"This is my first of many songs coming out following my theme of "The Invasion." The Invasion is the concept that the human race is waiting for some extraterrestrial entity to come wipe out the planet, but in the meantime, we are that extraterrestrial force that is wiping out the planet. We are the product of our own destruction, killing ourselves by not caring about the future of our world, but there is still hope. Lockdown is the first of many songs that actually brings attention to this problem." - BARILAN
