Lowdown - Ghetto Poetry EP

Lowdown returns to Night Bass after his smashing debut on This Is Night Bass Vol 9. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ is his first EP release on Night Bass and it’s a hefty blend of savage basslines, low-end frequencies and underground house sounds. Lowdown hits full throttle with ‘Eastside’, giving way to unique snare placements and heavy swells of grimy bass, driving straight into the quirky groove of ‘Pro Wrestler’, an impressive collaboration with SLATIN. ‘Ghetto Poetry’ comes in hot with a low-end pressure 4/4 beat followed by aggressive, UK-infused bassline madness. To round off the EP, Lowdown calls upon Qlank and JC Stormz for ‘Go’, a bass-heavy production with twisted programming decorated with commanding vocals and peculiar intricacies.
